Refund Policy

    PADDLE-COMPLIANT VERSION: Full refund available within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not downloaded any generated posts, reels, or carousel packages. This policy complies with Paddle Merchant of Record requirements and applicable consumer protection law.

    1. Overview

    All purchases made through Paigent are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. as the Merchant of Record. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions. This Refund Policy describes our commitments in addition to Paddle's standard terms.

    2. 14-Day Refund Window

    You may request a full refund of any subscription or one-time purchase within 14 days of the original transaction date, provided you have not downloaded any posts, reels, carousels, or other generated content from your account.

    Once you download any generated content, your refund eligibility is forfeited. This is because generated content is immediately available for your commercial use (publishing to Instagram/TikTok/other platforms).

    To request a refund, contact us at hello@getpaigent.com with:

    • Your account email address
    • Your Paddle order ID or payment receipt
    • Confirmation that you have not downloaded any content

    We will process your request within 3 business days. Refunds are issued through Paddle and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your payment method and bank.

    3. What Counts as "Downloaded"

    You are considered to have downloaded content if you:

    • Generate and download any Instagram post (PNG)
    • Generate and download any Instagram reel (MP4)
    • Generate and download any carousel package (ZIP file)
    • Export content for use on Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform

    Simply generating content without downloading it does not forfeit your refund eligibility. Refund eligibility is only forfeited once you actively download or export the generated file(s).

    4. After 14 Days

    Refund requests received more than 14 days after the original transaction date are not eligible for a refund under this policy, regardless of whether content was downloaded.

    You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not trigger a refund — it only stops future billing.

    5. Subscriptions

    Monthly and annual subscription payments are eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the transaction date AND you have not downloaded any content.

    The 14-day refund right applies to the initial subscription payment. It does not apply to subsequent automatic renewals, except where required by applicable law.

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via paddle.net. Cancellation stops future charges but does not grant a refund for the current period (unless requested within 14 days and no content has been downloaded).

    6. One-Time Purchases

    Currently, Paigent does not offer one-time purchases. All services are provided via subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Pro).

    If one-time purchases are introduced in the future, they will be eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the transaction date, provided no content has been downloaded.

    7. Free Plan

    The Free plan is provided at no charge. No refunds are applicable.

    8. Cancellation vs Refund

    Cancellation and refund are two separate actions:

    Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.

    Refund requires a separate request within the 14-day window (and only if no content has been downloaded).

    To receive a refund for your current period, you must submit a separate refund request as described in Section 2.

    9. Duplicate Charges

    If you believe you have been charged twice for the same purchase, contact hello@getpaigent.com within 14 days with your payment receipt.

    We will investigate and issue a refund for any confirmed duplicate charge within 5 business days, regardless of whether content was downloaded (since duplicate charges are our error, not your use of the service).

    10. Refund Eligibility Scenarios

    ELIGIBLE for refund (within 14 days, no content downloaded):

    • Upgraded subscription within 14 days and haven't generated any posts
    • Annual subscription purchased but decided not to use the service
    • Subscription renewed automatically and you request refund before downloading anything

    NOT ELIGIBLE for refund:

    • Any request after 14 days have passed
    • Downloaded even one post or reel
    • Generated and downloaded a carousel package
    • Exported content for publishing to Instagram/TikTok
    • Subscription ended due to cancellation (only refunds are eligible, not cancelled periods)

    11. Statutory Rights

    Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory withdrawal rights for digital services, those rights apply in addition to this policy.

    Important note: Since generated content (posts, reels) is immediately available for commercial use upon generation (and especially upon download), your statutory withdrawal right may be limited or voided under EU and UK digital content regulations once content is downloaded. We recommend requesting a refund before downloading any content to preserve your rights.

    12. How to Request a Refund

    To request a refund, email hello@getpaigent.com with:

    1. Your account email address
    2. Your Paddle order ID or payment receipt
    3. Confirmation that you have not downloaded any posts, reels, or carousel packages
    4. The reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)

    Important: When requesting a refund, you confirm that you have not downloaded any generated content from your account. Falsely claiming you haven't downloaded content when you have may be considered fraud and could result in account termination.

    We will respond within 3 business days. If your refund is approved, it will be processed through Paddle.

    14. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or by displaying a notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
